Karaoke Killed the Cat is the infamous karaoke dance party for people who never thought they'd like karaoke. Hosted by the frenzied duo of Chris Goldteeth and Lord Easy, they have been changing the world's view of what karaoke can be since 2003. Karaoke Killed the Cat brings together equal parts vocal chord shattering sing-along and booty popping dance party. Mix in sprinkles of crowd surfing, choreography and feats of strength; the result is a party unlike any other. As the show draws from the unchecked intensity and fervent enthusiasm of its patrons, Karaoke Killed the Cat becomes just as fun to watch, as it is to participate in. Forget about sounding good, this is about going hard and having the time of your life.

Bootyoke returns next week! Every year, Karaoke Killed the Cat throws a late summer send off of karaoke in short shorts called Bootyoke. This year it falls on Friday August 26th at Union Hall. Guys, girls, fat, skinny, gay, straight, everyone go out and pillage an American Apparel of their most private hugging inappropriate booty shorts and start in with your squats. This is the first time we’ve ever done this legendary party at Union Hall, and I want to see your worst. Dirty thoughts encouraged.
