Hosted by the frenzied duo of Chris Goldteeth and Lord Easy, they have been changing the world's view of what karaoke can be since 2003. Karaoke Killed the Cat brings together equal parts vocal chord shattering sing-along and booty popping dance party. Mix in sprinkles of crowd surfing, choreography and feats of strength; the result is a party unlike any other. As the show draws from the unchecked intensity and fervent enthusiasm of its patrons, Karaoke Killed the Cat becomes just as fun to watch, as it is to participate in. Forget about sounding good, this is about going hard and having the time of your life.

Karaoke Killed the Cat was invited to Los Angeles last week to host Studio Number One’s “Celebrate the Future” party at One Eyed Gypsy. We were honored to share the bill with DJ Diabetic (Shepard Fairey) and DJ Pubes. SNO just sent over this fine video of us making fools out of ourselves. Yes, that’s a bagpiper you see. No, I have no comment. Watch to the end to catch some gentle Birthday Sex caressing of Lord Easy.

Thanks to Natalie Blacker, the genius behind Ladies Lotto, for masterminding this mess. Many high fives to the entire Studio Number One family for letting us do our thing, and a special shout out the Fairey’s for their hospitality. All shows should be like that one.
